🇮🇹Finalmente ci siamo! È arrivato il momento di radunare i vostri eserciti, preparare le valigie e lasciarvi trasportare dall’entusiasmo: il XVIII FINAL è alle porte! Quest’anno ci attende un’edizione ancora più ricca, epica e immersiva, ambientata in una location senza pari.

Il raduno della comunità italiana Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, tappa conclusiva della Lega dell’Anello 2024, settimo Italian SBG System Open

 

🏰 LOCATION – IL CASTELLO VISCONTEO DI BEREGUARDO

 

L’edizione 2025 del Final si svolgerà nell’affascinante cornice del Castello Visconteo di Bereguardo, in Via Castello 2, 27021 Bereguardo (PV).

Questo splendido edificio storico, risalente al XIV secolo, offre un ambiente suggestivo e perfettamente in sintonia con l’atmosfera epica del nostro evento. Le sale interne, ampie e articolate, sono state ristrutturate per garantire una perfetta fruizione da parte del pubblico. In caso di maltempo, la struttura coperta assicura che ogni partita possa svolgersi senza intoppi.

All’esterno, le aree verdi del castello permetteranno di allestire la zona ristoro/relax, dove potersi rigenerare tra una partita e l’altra, scambiarsi strategie o semplicemente respirare l’aria storica del luogo. La posizione centrale nel paese rende il castello facilmente raggiungibile sia in auto che con i mezzi pubblici.

IN AUTO

 

• Da Milano: imboccare l’Autostrada A7 in direzione Genova e uscire a Bereguardo. Il castello dista circa 5 minuti di auto dall’uscita.

 

• Da Pavia: seguire la SS35 in direzione nord per circa 15 km fino a raggiungere Bereguardo o tramite raccordo A53 uscita Bereguardo
  

 

Sono disponibili parcheggi gratuiti nelle immediate vicinanze del castello.

CON IN MEZZI PUBBLICI

 

• Da Milano: treno per Pavia (Trenord o Trenitalia), poi autobus linea 92 o Z509 in direzione Bereguardo. La fermata più vicina è Bereguardo – Zelata – Della Chiesa.

 

• Da Pavia: utilizzare direttamente le linee 92 o Z509, che collegano comodamente la città a Bereguardo.

All’interno del castello sarà attiva un’area ristoro attrezzata dove sarà possibile pranzare senza dover abbandonare la sede dell’evento. Il menù è pensato per soddisfare tutti i gusti, con piatti caldi, snack e bevande.

Inoltre sarà allestito una zona bar gestita dalle 100 Torri con birra a volontà!

🛡️ I TORNEI – 3 GIORNI DI SFIDE, 1 GRANDE CAMPIONE

Il Final 2025 si svolge su tre giornate, ognuna con una formula diversa, per offrire un’esperienza completa, coinvolgente e sempre nuova. Ogni giornata avrà tornei indipendenti, con premiazioni distinte, ma per i più coraggiosi quest’anno sarà possibile competere anche per l’ambitissimo titolo OPEN.

🔁 VENERDÌ 26 SETTEMBRE – TUTTI CONTRO TUTTI

La prima giornata si apre con un evento amichevole e dinamico: il torneo “Tutti contro tutti”, una modalità aperta e flessibile che permette a tutti di rompere il ghiaccio, rispolverare miniature e mettersi subito in gioco.
Un’ottima occasione per scaldare i dadi e confrontarsi con giocatori di ogni livello in partite rapide, frenetiche e senza pressione competitiva.

Quest’anno il Tutti vs Tutti non assegnerà punti Lega ai vincitori, ma a tutti i partecipanti – nell’ottica di mantenere la serata il più amichevole possibile! 

⚔️ SABATO 27 SETTEMBRE – TORNEO SINGOLO

Il sabato si entra nel vivo della competizione, con il primo dei due tornei ufficiali in singolo.
I partecipanti si affronteranno in partite serrate, con regolamento ufficiale e punteggio competitivo.
Ogni partecipante potrà portare la fazione che preferisce: che sia la tua armata principale o qualcosa di sperimentale, sarà la strategia a fare la differenza. 

🤝 DOMENICA 28 SETTEMBRE – TORNEO 2VS2

La domenica sarà all’insegna della modalità cooperativa con il torneo a coppie (2vs2): un’occasione unica per allearsi con un amico, un compagno di club o perché no, un completo sconosciuto.
Tattiche condivise, sinergie di fazione e spirito di squadra saranno fondamentali per la vittoria.

🏆 TORNEO OPEN

Chi desidera competere per il titolo OPEN dovrà affrontare entrambi i tornei in singolo, quello del sabato e quello della domenica.
I punteggi ottenuti nei due tornei verranno sommati per stilare la classifica finale dell’OPEN, decretando il campione assoluto del Final 2025.
Le armate e le fazioni potranno essere differenti tra sabato e domenica: ogni torneo è autonomo e indipendente, con premi dedicati, ma solo chi partecipa a entrambi potrà ambire alla ricompensa finale.

⚠️ ⚠️  Nota importante: il torneo in singolo della domenica è accessibile solo a chi ha partecipato anche al torneo del sabato, garantendo continuità e parità tra i concorrenti dell’OPEN. ⚠️ ⚠️

Non si potranno ripetere gli stessi scenari, fra i due tornei in singolo, ma i pools si

🎨 GLI EVENTI HOBBISTICI

 

Anche quest’anno al Final 2025 ci saranno numerosi eventi hobbistici, con alcune novità!

‼️🔛Le novità di quest’anno saranno due:

🎨 il Golden Ring includerà una nuova categoria dedicata ai pittori emergenti (Silver Ring)

⚠️lo Speed Painting richiederà una pre-iscrizione e si svolgerà solo se verranno raggiunte almeno 10 iscrizioni

 

GOLDEN RING & SILVER RING

✨GOLDEN RING:

 Il Golden Ring è la storica competizione pittorica tra i partecipanti del Final che, a differenza dello Speed Painting, vede competere miniature completate prima dell’evento.

📜 Regole

 

1. È preferibile portare miniature Citadel (Games-Workshop). I componenti che non si trovano nella gamma Citadel possono essere scolpiti. Sono ammesse anche miniature di altre case purché chiaramente e inequivocabilmente riconducibili all’universo di Tolkien.

 

1. I modelli devono appartenere all’immaginario di Tolkien.

 

1. Ogni modello presentato deve rientrare obbligatoriamente in una CATEGORIA (vedi sotto). Si potrà presentare un solo modello (o gruppi di modelli nel caso della categoria “Banda da Guerra”) per CATEGORIA.

 

1. Il criterio principale di giudizio è la qualità della pittura, quindi, dimensioni e modifiche sono secondarie rispetto ad una tecnica di pittura ineccepibile.

 

1. I giudici si riservano il diritto di escludere miniature dalla gara se non conformi al concorso o cambiarle di categoria se la categoria di iscrizione non è esatta. Le decisioni dei giudici sono insindacabili.

 

1. I modelli iscritti a questo concorso non potranno essere ritirati fino al termine dello stesso.

 

1. Non si possono presentare modelli che abbiano partecipato ad altri concorsi online o in presenza (CPT, SPC, edizioni passate del Golden Ring, ecc…). Le decisioni dei giudici sono insindacabili.

 

1. Non sono consentite – salvo nella categoria 5 OPEN – basi espositive o diorami.

 

1. È consentito portare targhette/fogli/supporti di vario genere nel quale vengono illustrate le tecniche pittoriche impiegate.

 

1. Ogni partecipante non potrà vincere più di 3 premi fisici su 6 nel contest Golden Ring; i premi in eccesso verranno ridistribuiti.

 

🏆 Categorie

Se siete in dubbio sulla categoria alla quale appartenga il modello che volete iscrivere, fate riferimento al suo profilo dove, dopo il nome e la razza, è specificata la tipologia.
Se non è indicato nulla, allora appartiene alla categoria “Miniatura a piedi”.
Se è indicato “Cavalleria”, apparterrà alla categoria “Miniatura in Arcione”.
Se è indicato “Mostro”, apparterrà ovviamente alla categoria “Mostro”.
I carri e il palanchino dell’imperatore Esterling appartengono alla categoria “Mostro” sebbene nel profilo non sia specificato nulla.
Se siete in dubbio potete ovviamente chiedere delucidazioni a riguardo. Le decisioni dei giudici sono insindacabili.

Categoria 1 – Miniatura a piedi

Qualsiasi miniatura singola appiedata della gamma Il Signore degli Anelli, Lo Hobbit, o The War of the Rohirrim. La miniatura deve essere montata sulla basetta fornita nella confezione.

Categoria 2 – Miniatura in arcione

Qualsiasi miniatura singola in arcione della gamma Il Signore degli Anelli, Lo Hobbit, o The War of the Rohirrim. La miniatura deve essere montata sulla basetta fornita nella confezione.

Categoria 3 – Mostro

Qualsiasi miniatura singola di mostro o di carro della gamma Il Signore degli Anelli, Lo Hobbit, o The War of the Rohirrim. La miniatura deve essere montata sulla basetta fornita nella confezione.

Categoria 4 – Banda da Guerra

Qualsiasi banda da guerra della gamma Il Signore degli Anelli, Lo Hobbit, o The War of the Rohirrim. Le miniature presenti possono variare da un minimo di 5 modelli ad un massimo di 13 e devono essere legate in termini di gioco.
In ciascuna banda da guerra deve essere presente un eroe.
Le miniature devono essere montate sulla basetta fornita nella confezione.

Categoria 5 – Open

Qualsiasi modello dell’universo de Il Signore degli Anelli, Lo Hobbit, o The War of the Rohirrim.
In questa categoria possono essere presenti diorami e/o duelli. Le miniature non necessitano di essere montate sulla basetta fornita nella confezione.

💍 NEW: SILVER RING – PITTORI NON PROFESSIONISTI / EMERGENTI

Chi può partecipare?

Chiunque – a insindacabile giudizio del Mod Hobby – non abbia:

 

1. Una pagina IG di promozione dei suoi lavori;

 

1. Un painting studio;

 

1. Non esegue pittura su commissione.

 

🏆 Categorie SILVER RING

SILVER RING – 1 – Miniatura a piedi

Qualsiasi miniatura singola appiedata della gamma Il Signore degli Anelli, Lo Hobbit, o The War of the Rohirrim.
La miniatura deve essere montata sulla basetta fornita nella confezione da 25 mm.

SILVER RING – 2 – Mostro o cavaliere

Qualsiasi miniatura della gamma IIl Signore degli Anelli, Lo Hobbit, o The War of the Rohirrim montata su basetta superiore ai 25 mm.

🗳️ VALUTAZIONI

 

• Il voto popolare decreterà i vincitori delle 5 categorie del Golden Ring.

 

• I partecipanti al Golden Ring assegneranno invece il titolo di Vincitore Assoluto, esprimendo una preferenza sui pezzi in gara (a prescindere dalla categoria in cui competono).

 

• Per la sezione NEW SILVER RING, saranno i partecipanti al Golden Ring a votare i migliori pittori emergenti.

 

❓ DOMANDE FREQUENTI

D: Esistono sottocategorie (come principianti o master) per ogni categoria principale?
R: NI. Esiste il Silver Ring per pittori emergenti/non professionisti.

D: Si deve partecipare a tutte le categorie o si può decidere di parteciparne solo ad alcune?
R: Ognuno è libero di partecipare a quante categorie vuole. Più categorie si scelgono, meglio è!

D: I modelli presentati possono essere stati dipinti anche anni fa, ad esempio?
R: Sì, i modelli possono essere dipinti già da tempo o preparati per l’occasione.
È consigliato pubblicare i WIP (Work In Progress) sul forum.
L’unica limitazione: è vietata l’iscrizione di modelli che hanno già partecipato ad altri concorsi, online o in presenza (vedi Regola 7).

D: Nel caso non fosse possibile venire, è possibile affidare le miniature del concorso a qualcun altro?
R: No. Nel rispetto di chi partecipa di persona, non è possibile far gareggiare miniature affidate ad altri.

D: Modelli come il Mumak o la Bestia di Gorgoroth sono da considerarsi come singoli mostri (e quindi iscrivibili nella categoria “Mostri”) o, avendo più modelli al loro interno, valgono per la categoria “Bande da Guerra”?

• Se il Mumak o la Bestia di Gorgoroth sono presentati da soli, gareggeranno nella categoria “Mostro”.

Ad ogni risposta esatta verrà conferito un punto, 0 per ogni risposta non data e verranno sottratti 0,5 punti per ogni risposta errata. ISCRIZIONI NOVITA’ FINAL 2025: Chi vuole partecipare è invitato a compilare un modulo google che verrà postato come commento a questo post.

Lo Speed Painting è una competizione molto simpatica che consiste nel dipingere una miniatura preventivamente imbasettata e primerata. 

Cosa devo portare?
Tutto il materiale necessario per dipingere: colori, pennelli, lampada, carta assorbente ecc; sono concessi colori Contrast, ma per questioni organizzative e di spazi chiusi non sarà possibile utilizzare aerografi. Ci saranno 30 minuti di tempo per concludere il proprio lavoro, al termine dei quali il pittore dovrà consegnare la miniatura; ogni partecipante dovrà essere bravo a gestirsi nelle varie fasi della pittura. I lavori saranno valutati dal Responsabile Hobby, che decreterà il vincitore, insieme agli altri membri dello Staff.
Ogni partecipante potrà portare una miniatura primerata come preferisce (zenitale concesso) di un guerriero di Rohan della nuova scatola base.

In alternativa lo staff fornirà gratuitamente per chi non avesse queste miniature o volesse cimentarsi nella sfida senza acquistare miniature fino a 24 guerrieri di Rohan solo primerati (no limatura) in nero (con aerografo).

The grand gathering of the Italian Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game community, final stage of the Lega dell’Anello 2024, and the seventh Italian SBG System Open.

🏰 LOCATION – THE VISCONTI CASTLE OF BEREGUARDO

The 2025 edition of the Final will be held in the fascinating setting of the Visconti Castle of Bereguardo, located at Via Castello 2, 27021 Bereguardo (PV).

This splendid historic building, dating back to the 14th century, provides an evocative and perfectly thematic environment for our event. The interior rooms are spacious and well-structured, and have been renovated to ensure an optimal experience for attendees.
In case of bad weather, the covered structure guarantees that every game can proceed without interruptions.

Outside, the castle’s green areas will host the relaxation and refreshment zone, where you can recharge between games, share strategies, or simply breathe in the atmosphere of this historical site.
Its central location in town makes the castle easily accessible both by car and public transport.

🚗 HOW TO GET THERE

 

🚘 BY CAR

 

 

• From Milan: Take the A7 motorway toward Genoa and exit at Bereguardo. The castle is about 5 minutes from the exit.

 

• From Pavia: Follow the SS35 north for about 15 km to Bereguardo, or take the A53 bypass, exit Bereguardo.

 

There are free parking areas available immediately near the castle.

🛡️ THE TOURNAMENTS – 3 DAYS OF CHALLENGES, 1 GREAT CHAMPION

Final 2025 takes place over three full days, each offering a different format, designed to create a complete, engaging, and ever-fresh experience.
Each day will host independent tournaments, each with separate prizes, but for the boldest among you, this year you can also compete for the coveted OPEN title.

🔁 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 – “Tutti contro tutti” (All against all) 

The first day kicks off with a fun and dynamic event:
the “Tutti contro tutti” (All against all)  tournament, a flexible format that lets everyone jump right in, dust off their miniatures, and start rolling dice immediately.

It’s a perfect chance to warm up, face players of all skill levels, and enjoy fast-paced, friendly matches with no pressure.

🟡 NOTE: This year, the “Tutti contro tutti” (All against all)  will not award League Points to winners — but all participants will receive points instead, to keep the evening casual and welcoming!

⚔️ SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 – SINGLE PLAYER TOURNAMENT I

Saturday is when things get serious, with the first of two official single-player tournaments.

Players will compete in tight matches, using the official ruleset and competitive scoring.

You may bring any army you prefer — whether it’s your main force or something experimental, strategy will be your key to victory.

🤝 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 – 2VS2 TEAM TOURNAMENT

Sunday will highlight cooperative play, with the 2vs2 Team Tournament:
a unique opportunity to team up with a friend, a clubmate, or even a total stranger!

Shared tactics, faction synergy, and team spirit will be essential to achieving victory.

🏆 OPEN TOURNAMENT

For those wishing to compete for the prestigious title of OPEN Champion, participation in both Single Player Tournaments is required — that is, the Saturday tournament and the Sunday tournament.

The scores earned in both tournaments will be combined to create the final OPEN ranking, determining the overall Final 2025 Champion.

🟡 Armies and factions can be different between Saturday and Sunday — each tournament is independent, with its own prizes, but only those competing in both can aim for the final reward.

The Sunday Single Player Tournament is only accessible to players who also participated in Saturday’s tournament — this ensures continuity and fairness among OPEN competitors. ⚠️ ⚠️

 

Scenarios can’t be repeated during the two singles tournaments, but pools may be reused.

The Golden Ring is the traditional painting competition among Final participants.
Unlike Speed Painting, this contest features miniatures that were completed prior to the event.

📜 Rules

 

 

• It is preferred that you bring Citadel miniatures (Games Workshop).

 

• Components not available in the Citadel range may be sculpted.

 

• Miniatures from other companies are allowed, as long as they are clearly and unmistakably related to Tolkien’s universe.

 

• Models must belong to Tolkien’s world.

 

• Each model must be entered into a specific category (see below).

 

• Only one model per category may be entered (groups of models allowed only in the Warband category).

 

Judging Criteria:

 

• The main judging criterion is painting quality.

 

• Size and conversions are secondary — the focus is on impeccable painting technique.

 

Other Rules:

 

• The judges reserve the right to disqualify models or reassign categories if necessary.

 

• Judges’ decisions are final.

 

• Models entered in this competition cannot be removed until the contest ends.

 

• Models may not have participated in other contests (online or in-person), such as CPT, SPC, or previous editions of Golden Ring.

 

• Display bases or dioramas are not allowed, except in Category 5 (Open).

 

• Participants may include plaques/notes about their painting techniques.

 

• Each participant may not win more than 3 physical prizes in the Golden Ring. Any additional prizes will be redistributed.

❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Are there beginner or master sub-categories?
A: Sort of. The Silver Ring exists for emerging / non-professional painters.

Q: Do I have to participate in all categories, or can I choose?
A: You may choose as many categories as you like. The more, the better!

Q: Can I enter models painted years ago?
A: Yes — models can be older or newly painted.

It’s recommended to post WIP (Work In Progress) on the forum.
The only restriction: models that already competed in other contests (see Rule 7) are not allowed.

Q: If I can’t attend, can I give my models to someone else to enter?
A: No. In fairness to in-person participants, proxy submissions are not allowed.

Q: Are models like the Mumak or Gorgoroth Beast counted as Monsters or Warbands?

How it works:

 

• Paint a pre-based, primed miniature of a Rohan Warrior (new edition) within 30 minutes.

• All personal painting supplies: paints, brushes, lamp, paper towels, etc.

 

• Contrast paints allowed.

 

• Airbrushes not allowed (due to space constraints).

Ormai è un paio di settimane che ne stiamo discutendo, ma ecco qua il secondo “spoiler” per il Final 2025!

È stato molto dibattuto, ma la realtà è che abbiamo pochi dati su come siano i meta Legacy e non Legacy, e soprattutto non ne avremo abbastanza in tempo per il Final e le deadline precedenti.

Per questo motivo, abbiamo deciso di consentire in TUTTI i tornei l’utilizzo dei modelli Legacy!

Abbiamo fatto bene? Male? Ditecelo voi!

 

 

Per il Final 2026 invece vedremo, ma a quel punto avremo tantissime informazioni per decidere al meglio!

In ogni caso, viste le differenze di vedute a livello nazionale e internazionale, invitiamo tutti gli organizzatori di tornei ad alternare, Legacy e non, per essere preparati ad ogni evenienza!

Ciao a tutti, ecco a voi finalmente i punti lega assegnati dai vari tornei del Final!

Quest’anno ci abbiamo messo un po’ di più, visto che volevamo capire come vi sareste distribuiti fra i tornei domenicali. Avendo fatto un sondaggio qualche mese fa, ci aspettavamo un doppio con molti più partecipanti, ma cosi non è stato e abbiamo dovuto adattare di conseguenza.

Prima di condividere i PFT, un paio di ragionamenti che hanno portato a questa distribuzione:

⁠Il tutti contro tutti è un torneo inteso per la convivialità, il ritrovarsi, l’iniziare un weekend pieno di divertimento, non per competere all’ultimo sangue. Per questo motivo, quest’anno, chiunque vi parteciperà prendere un punto lega, senza considerare la posizione. Portate le liste più pazze e sconsiderate, fatevi grande risate e non litigate al tavolo!

⁠I mods quest’anno per la prima volta competono per la lega, ma sfortunatamente hanno obblighi organizzativi e non possono partecipare a tutto il Final. Per questo motivo il vecchio sistema dei punteggi del Final sarebbe stato insostenibile per garantirne la partecipazione. Il risultato migliore fra il torneo del sabato e della domenica andrà a sommarsi ai risultati dei tornei di lega. Per questo motivo abbiamo aumentato i punteggi che danno i tornei singoli dagli anni passati, ma senza raddoppiarli completamente

⁠Abbiamo introdotto il doppio torneo della domenica, creato un simil singolo su 7 partite, ma questo ovviamente ha portato ad avere diverse partecipazioni ai vari tornei. Di conseguenza i punti lega sono modulati in base ai numeri delle iscrizioni, per far si che non ci siano squilibri dovuti a un doppio con molti meno giocatori del singolo. Altrettanto, entrambi i tornei sono tornei seri e di conseguenza il doppio non darà molti meno punti rispetto al singolo.

Infine, visto che abbiamo voluto creare un simil torneo a 7 partite in singolo, chi vincerà il biglietto per Ardacon (e quindi questo torneo sommato) si aggiudicherà un ulteriore punto Final. Da notare come sia facile che a vincere il torneo su 7, sia qualcuno che non vince gli altri due tornei in singolo.
